Original Southern Californis Datsun Fairlady
Posted in Uncategorized by admin - Aug 28 2009
This is about the nicest Fairlady you will ever find. It is no wonder she likes to stay in the museum. She has been thinking about the invitations to stay in other museums. She likes the idea of joining a very special car collection though. A girl like her still likes to feel the wind in her hair every once in a while. Museums are very nice. The attention and photographs are fun.
This little museum car is also a little racer. Bob Bondurant drove her sister to a very big win in 1965. That was a huge benchmark for datsun. This little sports car has a rear end reminiscent of the sporty MGB and the sweeping hood of a Ferarri. Not a bad look for the new girl in town. A big win in 1965 as a race car is not a bad pedigree either.
We are going to see what collections would make a nice home for this 1965 Fairlady. To the right private collector, this beautiful girl is up for sale. Jay Leno, are you listening? The Fairlady is so much fun to drive that it would be a shame never to let her out for a run. We will announce the offering for sale next month. We will look for a buyer who would like to let her stay on exhibit at museums some of the time hopefully.
